Deleting your data

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of the data that ТОО «MSSP.GL» (BIN 150140024604) processes in connection with the citizensec.kz website and its educational monitoring of posts on social networks.

If you are registered on the site

Write to [email protected] from the email address you used to register. State in your message that you want your account deleted.

We will delete the account and the data associated with it within 30 calendar days and send you confirmation. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it — for example, documents relating to paid services.

If your Threads post has entered our system

We collect only public posts, through Meta's official Threads API, and use them to inform people about fraud schemes. If you do not want your post to be processed:

  1. Write to [email protected].
  2. Give your Threads username and, if possible, a link to the post.
  3. Put "Data deletion" in the subject line.

We will delete the post and the records associated with it within 30 calendar days and confirm it by return email. We will also add your account to an exclusion list, so the system will no longer respond to your posts.

There is no separate permission to revoke: we work only with public data and have no access to your account.

What exactly is deleted

  • the text and identifier of the post;
  • the author's username;
  • the scam card built from that post;
  • the reply we published in the thread, if you ask for that to be removed as well.

Technical API request logs are kept for no more than 90 days and are deleted automatically.

Timing

We acknowledge a request within 3 working days and complete it within 30 calendar days.

If something goes wrong

If you have not received a reply within that period, write again with "Follow-up request" in the subject line. You also have the right to contact the authorised personal data protection body of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
