Google warns: vulnerability CVE-2024-7965 in Chrome is under active exploitation

Google has reported a security issue in its Chrome browser that has been fixed in the latest update. This vulnerability, designated as CVE-2024-7965, can be exploited by attackers through specially crafted web pages.
The vulnerability was discovered by a researcher who received a reward of $11,000 for information about it. Although details on how exactly attackers are using this vulnerability have not yet been disclosed, Google has confirmed that they are aware of existing attacks.
To protect themselves, users are strongly advised to update their Chrome browser to version 128.0.6613.84 or 128.0.6613.85 for Windows and macOS, as well as to version 128.0.6613.84 for Linux. This will help avoid potential threats and ensure the security of your data.
